4th of July Makeup

Forth of July Makeup

So here is my makeup for today, i never wear this colors unless its for a special occasion! Most of the make up can be purchased at Sephora, but then I have my favorites from the drug store.

First is my foundation, and I use the Maybelline more than the Smashbox.
 - I apply a small amount all over the face, and yes i use my fingers. Make sure they are clean!

Then I apply my bronzer, and I use it all over my face, but not till im orange. When i put on foundation, i use the smashbox. This stuff has lasted me years because you twist it to shave off more bronzer as you need. I LOVE IT. Or just a day where im going out or something I wear the truminerals powder.

So now we move on to the eyes, sorry if i look like an alien in this pictures, i have no idea how to take good ones showing what i need to show you! My absolute favorite eye primer is the Kat Von D eye primer which is $15 at Sephora. You only need a little amount of it, just dab it onto your eye lid and then rub it around with your fingers till it covers the whole lid smoothly.

~~~~My eyelashes are really long, currently in this picture im not wearing mascara, i love it!
Now onto your eyeshadow. Today I am wearing Engagement Ring 1 from Sephora. I applied it with a random eyeshadow brush i had, and i noticed that when i cleaned it and it was a little damp, it helped the glitter really come out on the eye, so maybe spray a little water on your brush before applying.
I used a really small brush to do under the eye, here is the brushes i used.
Then i apply my eyeliner. Which will be a little harder over the eyeshadow because it will get caught on the pencil, so just wipe it off and continue till you get the line that you want. I used a Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes Pencil that one of my best friends gave me, i love it!
So then after the eyeliner I applied mascara to complete the look, and I just use the drugstore mascara because I dont believe that it is really any different than the extremely expensive that you buy in stores. The only time i use that stuff is when it is a free gift in the smaller version :)
And then this is my hair! French braid across the front of my head, I tend to wear these a lot.
My Wishlist
Im creating a list of things that i really want by the end of the summer :)
I really want this laptop case! My macbook pro is like 3 years old and i want to keep it alive as long as possible :)
These mint jeans from oldnavy, if they ever get them in my size again!
These sandals are what im missing right now! i have no white sandals and I am desperate for a cute pair
My Weird Finds
So I am a very avid shopper, but when I shop I only look for sale items, and different shops that offer discount but very good clothes. And EBAYY!! I want to help you find those crazy insane deals which help you save so much money. Please leave comments if you have any tips for me or any questions you have, im so bored and i'd love to help anyone find really great things for really low prices.
So here is one of my favorite finds of the summer, were these authentic Coach (extremely great condition) flats!
I was down in south Florida and i am never afraid to walk into any store because you will never know what you will find. So I was in a very popular store, one that i go into often where i live, Plato's closet. This is a store that has very unexpected finds and sometimes nothing, you just always have to check. Your probably wondering how much I got these for only $14. YEAH $14!!!!! I saw them in the clearance shoes, and i was just like whoaaa hold up, blinked twice and made sure i wasn't seeing something crazy. So this is a hand-me-down store from previous owners and all clothes are in great condition. Mostly its college students by the way. Another thing about this store is that they will buy your clothes if you are looking to get rid of any. So if you go thru your drawers and closet and they might give you some money for things that you don't wear anymore. Oh and books, dvds, purses, jewelry and shoes. Here is a link to their website, try it out sometime! Plato's Closet
Another place i love to shop is eBay! You have to be careful though, because it's online you really need to research everything! Who the buyer is, click on their name read reviews ect, look at the pictures, ask questions too! i always ask questions and they usually respond quickly. My mom actually taught me how to ebay my own stuff and I can gladly write an article on how to do that if any one wants to learn, its super easy! But when looking at stuff, you can always find great stuff, and things that you can't find in stores, (or are too lazy to go out im like that sometimes). So i just purchased what i think was a great buy. After selling some items I made a little over $120 in my paypal account. I found this lot of 9 jeans.
Lucky Brand dark wash, boot cut, lit Maggie, brown design back pocket, Size 4 short inseam -- great condition
Lucky Brand Dark wash, boot cut Sweet Dream, Light blue design pocket, size 2 reg inseam -- great condition
This was the description, I will probably fit into the sizes 2-4 jeans.  But we will see when they arrive! If i dont like them, i can simply send them back for a full refund. Guess how much i got this for? With shipping and everything, $47! 4 pairs of Lucky Brand Jeans, like dang! So i dont have pictures yet, but ill surely post them when i get them in, and then if they need to be hemmed. Im so excited about them! You just got to look for stuff :) Please leave questions and ill make sure to keep adding to this topic when I come up with more ideas on how to shop and save a bunch of money!
The "No Chip" Secret Formula
Do your nails chip terribly like mine? I found a trick that have gotten mine through 4 days already including football! Still no chipping :)
Simply just take a cotton ball of rubbing alcohol after removing polish and before you paint your nails, rub it around with your fingers then wipe off. ~ This soaks the oil up that causes your nail polish to chip.
Hope it works like mine did! ♥
